WELCOME TO WALNUT
The City of Walnut is located in northwest corner of Crawford County, Kansas near the Neosho and Bourbon County line. The town has a population of about 220 people.
City council meetings are held once a month on the first Monday each month at 7 p.m. at the City Hall located at 210 S. Main Street.
Utility bill payments are due by the 10th of each month by the end of business. Payments can be dropped off at City Hall, Farmers Bank or mailed to P.O. Box 168, Walnut, KS 66780.
LSLI CUSTOMER SURVEY
All water customers will need to fill out an LSLI survey regarding piping within their homes. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently issued regulations requiring all public water supply (PWS) systems to develop a Lead Service Line Inventory (LSLI) of both water system owned and your privately-owned service lines.
CITY CLEAN UP DATES
Walnut City Wide Clean-Up will be held Friday, April 26th to Sunday April 28th. Dumpsters will be located near the City Maintenance Building along Miller Street!
